These vegetable pakora are a variation of the onion pakoda & are super quick to make anytime. These deep fried snack taste delicious & are extremely addictive with a great aroma of gram flour or besan and spices. Plain fritters are deep-fried cakes of chou paste or a yeast dough.

- In a mixing bowl, put in gram flour. Add enough water to make a thick paste. Remember, the mixture should NOT be runny. It must have a thick consistency
- In the mixture, add all spices. Set away for half hour
- Meanwhile, dice potatoes. Dices should be small. also chop onions and green chilies
- After half hour, add the vegetables mentioned in above steps into the mixture
- Bring oil to heat in a wok.
- In hot oil, using a spoon, toss the mixture. Keep them medium sized
- Fry the fritters till they are golden brown
- Dish them out on a plate lined with tissue paper to absorb excess oil
- Serve hot with a ketchup dip
