But i haven't shared the pepper chicken gravy which we simply love. Curry leaves chutney, a delicious and flavorful chutney made from curry leaves and coconut as main ingredients.
Instructions to make Granny's curry leaves pepper gravy:
- Grind curry leaves into paste can add little water (helps in hair growth, constipation)
- Grind tomato separately
- Dry roast pepper, red chilli, coriander seeds, thur dal until mild aroma comes cool it and ground to a paste (pepper fight against cold)
- Now heat oil in a pan add mustard when is splutter add garlic cloves and shallots roast until soft
- Then add curry leaves paste fry for 2 minutes then add tomato puree cook until raw smell goes
- Finally add dry roasted paste, turmeric and salt and 1 cup of water, cook for few minutes let it boil and mix together it gets thicken
- Don't over cook, pepper leads to bitter taste when overcooked
- Done serve with hot rice and melted ghee.
