The ingredients needed to make Curry Chicken:
  1. Make ready 500 gm chicken in bone curry cut
  2. Make ready 4-5 tbsp mustard oil
  3. Take Whole garam masala
  4. Prepare 1 Black Cardamom
  5. Make ready 1 tejpatta(bay leaf
  6. Make ready 1 inch dalchini(cinnemom stick)
  7. Get 4-5 laung/cloves
  8. Make ready 5-6 Kali mirch(Black pepper)
  9. Get 1 sized onion chopped finely
  10. Take 4-5 garlic cloves grated
  11. Prepare 1 inch ginger grated
  12. Make ready 2 tbsp boiled onion paste
  13. Take 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  14. Get 1/4 tsp ginger paste
  15. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder(haldi)
  16. Get 1 tsp red chilli powder
  17. Get 1 tsp dhania jeera( coriander cumin) powder
  18. Make ready to taste Salt
  19. Prepare 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  20. Get 2 tbsp Dahi/ curd
  21. Get 1 tsp desi ghee
Instructions to make Curry Chicken:
  1. Firstly take 3-4 med sized onion sliced. Take a pan, add 1 cup water, add onion, boil it. Cool down. Grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.
  2. Take a wok, add oil, heat it.
  3. Add whole garam masala, saute it for a sec.
  4. Add chopped onion, stir fry it till light brown.
  5. Add grated ginger garlic, saute it for a while.
  6. Now add chicken pcs, stir fry it for a while. Add salt also.
  7. Keep stirring it. Add ginger garlic paste, stir fry it for a while.
  8. Now add boiled onion paste, stir fry it for a while.
  9. Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it till golden brown. Stir in between.
  10. Open the lid now, increase the flame, add haldi, dhania & red chilli powder, sprinkle some water, stir fry it till oil has oozed out.
  11. Now add garam masala powder, dahi & ghee, give a stir.
  12. Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until oil separates.
  13. Open the lid now, increase the flame, add boiled water accordingly so as to keep the a thin gravy (not runny). Cook it till first boil.
  14. Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it till chicken becomes tender.
  15. Stop the flame now, open the lid after a while.
  16. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
  17. Have it with Rice or Pulao..
